At last, Hollywood's grandest celebration of film has arrived as the 98th Academy Awards take center stage. The ceremony will air live on ABC and Hulu from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 15 at 4 p.m. (PT).

The Oscars will once again be hosted by comedian Conan O'Brien, who is expected to bring his signature wit and irreverent humor to the event while guiding audiences through an evening showcasing the absolute best in movies.

N2Entertainment.net is honored to be invited again this year and will be on the scene and inside the press room covering Hollywood's biggest night. We will bring you the latest highlights, winners, and memorable moments via social media and online coverage throughout the evening.

What a BIG--and potentially historic--night it could be for Warner Bros. Pictures' "Sinners." The blues-soaked horror drama, written, produced, and directed by Sacramento State University alum Ryan Coogler, has earned an unprecedented 16 Academy Award nominations--the most ever received by a single film. The milestone surpasses the long-standing record held by "All About Eve," "Titanic," and "La La Land," each of which earned 14 nominations.

"Sinners" received nominations for--among others--"Best Picture," "Best Actor" (Michael B. Jordan), "Best Director" (Ryan Coogler), "Best Original Screenplay" (Coogler), "Cinematography" (Autumn Durald Arkapaw), "Best Supporting Actress" (Wunmi Mosaku), "Best Costume Design" (Ruth E. Carter), "Original Score" (Ludwig Goransson), and "Best Original Song" ("I Lied to You"). The song was co-written by Bay Area/Sacramento music icon Raphael Saadiq of Tony! Toni! Tone!.

Among the film's most celebrated nominations, and one N2Entertainment.net will be certainly rooting for, is the Best Supporting Actor" nod for San Francisco State University alum Delroy Lindo.

We're thrilled to see this long-overdue recognition for an actor whose body of work has inspired and enlightened audiences for decades.

Lindo's performance in "Sinners" as Delta Slim--an old-town harmonica player and legendary bluesman--is simply sensational. A win would be richly deserved.

The race for "Best Picture" is shaping up to be one of the most competitive in recent memory. While "Sinners" leads the field in nominations, other acclaimed films are hoping to win the Academy's top prize, making the evening's biggest award far from a foregone conclusion.

Among the strongest challengers is Paul Thomas Anderson's dramedy "One Battle After Another," which secured 13 nominations, including acting nods for Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyana Taylor, Benicio Del Toro, and Sean Penn.

Whether history is made by "Sinners" or another contender emerges as the night's big winner, movie lovers will be eagerly watching to see how it all unfolds.

In the meantime, here is the list of nominees for the 98th Annual Academy Awards and who N2Entertainment.net would like to see win. Our picks are bolded. Congratulations to everyone.
