her career in journalism while
a student at Merritt College
in Oakland, Calif. In addition

Lana landed her first job
as an free-lance assistant

Post Newspaper. While there
she wrote feature articles
on the Oakland A's and Golden
State Warriors as well as
other Bay Area collegiate
sports.
Lana
also attended San Francisco
State University and graduated
with a Bachelor's of Arts
Degree in Radio/Television.
After that, she worked three
years as an entertainment
writer and columnist for the
Sacramento Union newspaper.
